Last September 12-14, 2007, the UP-ITTC and UP System IT Foundation in cooperation with PSITE, Computing Society of the Philippines and VCT-IT Student Volunteer Corps, organized the biggest IT event of the year in the Philippines participated by more than 16,000 I.T. students and professionals coming from different regions all over the country – the Y4IT 2007.
The DMC – College Foundation, College of Computer Studies is the only school in the province attended the said event participated by seven I.T. students namely Ervelyn Velos, Ann Labisig, Jecs Cagas, King Lone Geraldo, Ronald Pedrabuena, Ephraim Pegalan, and Alvin Rio Bagasina, and two faculty members from the college Mr. Jovanie Talaroc and Miss Ma. Dara Saquin.
The said event embarks on the following core topics in I.T. both in academe and industry with the speakers coming from different countries in ASIA and colleges and universities in the Philippines.

Digital Entertainment, e-Government, e-Market Place, e-Mobile Technology, Network Business, Computational Biology, Mobile Learning, Success Stories in Animation, and Human Interfaces and Interaction,Digital Video Production, On-Line Gaming / MMORPG, Job Structures in IT, 3D Animation, ASP and e-Business, Best Practices in the e-Services Industry, Systems Analysis & Design, and Biomedical Robotics, and many more.
Aside from that, we also had our campus tour at UP-Information Technology Training Center of UP-Diliman, Quezon City a day before we flew back to here (Zamboanga del Norte).
